Two U-19 EPRU Coaches Win Coaching Award Brian Boyle and Greg Mininger win The coaches of the Northeast Raiders U-19's, Brian Boyle and Greg Mininger, were recently honored with the Double Goal Coaching Awarded presented by Liberty Mutual. In Fall, Brian and Greg were nominated for the national award for their work in coaching the Northeast Raiders Rugby Club. In January they were selected as one of the 50 finalists among a pool of coaches from 43 states and thousands of people who nominated coaches. Last week they were named as one of the 20 national winners.
All of the winners of this prestigious award exemplify responsibility, which is the characteristic we at Liberty Mutual value most," said Greg Gordon, Liberty Mutual's Senior Vice President of Consumer Marketing. "That's why we are committed to supporting PCA's Double-Goal Coach Awards program. It is tremendously important that these fine coaches be held up as examples to be emulated."

Each of these award winners will receive a $250 cash prize, a trophy, and recognition in PCA publications and press releases. But many of the thousands of letters and testimonials on behalf of this year's nominees made it clear that these coaches do what they do simply to have a positive impact on youth. Therefore, their greatest reward may be your visiting the Youth Sports Spotlight blog to leave a note of congratulations for that impact.
