In February 2006, the EPRU in support of its inaugural season of Under 15 Boys Midi-Contact (Tackle) Rugby, released a set of Law Variations along with Guidelines & Regulations. Each year the EPRU reviews the rules, regulations and guidelines to effectively manage the growth of U15 rugby in a way that best serves the interests of the players and the teams themselves.
All EPRU U15 clubs and referees are required to comply with the U15 Law Variations. A copy of this document can be read and downloaded at the U15 forms page.
The EPRU Regulations and Guidelines for Under-15 Midi-Contact Rugby can be read and downloaded at the U15 forms page. This document establishes regulations, which are intended as requirements of participants and guidelines, which are a collection of best practices that are recommended. These regulations and guidelines are for use for all rugby matches played under the jurisdiction of the EPRU involving contact (such as tackling) for players under the age of 15 in coordination with EPRU U15 club coaches and the East Penn Rugby Referees Society. Additionally, Codes of Conduct for match officials, players, coaches and supporters, are also addressed.
